British designer Nigel Cabourn teams up with Red Wing Heritage for this British Army inspired boot:

An interesting interview regarding the collaboration:

Available at select Red Wing retailers worldwide.  Comes in two colorways pictured above.  Red Wing’s Amsterdam store has the boots for €490.00 ($636 USD) to give you an idea what the US retail will be if you want to track a pair down.

  • WTAPS Gets Their Olive Drab On

Military inspired Japanese brand WTAPS for fall/winter 2012:

    Pics via Honeyee.

Price at 25,200 ($320 USD) for the shirt, Pants 26,250 ($334 USD), and Hat ($94 USD).

The thing I like about WTAPS is the pieces are always quite subtle.  They don’t normally use camouflage, and the branding is kept to a minimum.

You can check out the WTAPS website for more pictures and info.  Warning, In true character of expensive clothing seem, the website isn’t particular useful.

  • Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Camouflage Collection

Swiss Army decided to get in on the Camouflage trend with a host of knifes in various disruptive patterns.  Woodland, digital, mossy oak… check them out over at the SwissArmy website.

I’m more of a fan of single locking blade folders, and that’s all I carry now.  I have secretly missed those mini scissors on more than one occasion though, so maybe I should attach my classic red Swiss Army knife (same style as the one pictured above) back onto my keychain.

The Spartan model with a few more features is available at Amazon for only $17.50 USD.  Probably a good stocking stuffer for pretty much any guy, if you have any uncles or brothers etc.. that you need a small gift for.
