• Jeremy Scott x Linda Farrow M16 Sunglasses

If the military made these standard issue it would further complicate “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”:

There would definitely be some fabulous soldiers walking around.  How much more would enemies hate the U.S. if they knew everyone had ~$500 designer sunglasses issued as a part of their kit.   Sheeeeeeeeeeit…. almost makes me wish it would happen.

Available in gold and chrome as pictured for €380 ($491 USD) over at Colette.

  • Harry Potter Reporting For Duty Sir

CNN takes a look at invisible camouflage technology:

You can read more information on Quantum Stealth camouflage technology over at HyperSteath. Hard to believe a company with such a terrible logo and website came up with such an awesome sounding product.  The public hasn’t actually seen real pictures of the camouflage yet (that picture to the left is a photoshop) which is quite sketchy.

hahah at 0:46 where the guy is clicking through Photoshop filters.  Is that supposed to impress us?  I always assumed camouflages were based on custom complex algorithms, not goofy photoshop effects.

Interesting stuff if this actually works as they say it does.  I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

  • Bloody Smurf Winter Camouflage Down Jacket

As the title says, that is the only way I can accurately describe this:

The jacket is made by Undercover, who happens to have one of the most confusing websites I’ve ever visited.

£1,050 ($1685 USD) available over at Oki-Ni.  Even the model looks slightly embarrassed.

  • Reigning Champ x HAVEN MA-1 Bomber Jacket

A great looking MA-1 out of Canada:

The jacket is made out of heavyweight fleece and comes with a removable quilted nylon insulator vest.  I’m not sure how warm that combination makes the jacket, but my guess is that it’s best suited for when the temperature is hovering above freezing.

For $360 over at HAVEN, this seems like a great value for the money. It’s also available in black, but in my opinion that colorway doesn’t look as good on this design.

  • Staying Crispy While Hiking In Urban Environments

You’re going to want to pick up some urban hiking boots for scaling the shelves of Mount Wallymart:

If you want to turn heads that is, your going to need a pair of these $400 leather camouflage hikers from Modern Vice.  As a bonus they make them out of eco friendly leather which I’m pretty sure means that the cows all drove Toyota Prius’ when they couldn’t bike or walk to where they wanted to go.

  • Fitness Model Lauren Berlingeri – Navy SEAL Training Experience

On her show Woman v. Workout:

Some of it looks like fun, but a lot of it just looks painful.

At least she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty.
